Two Xiaomi Smart Air Fryer models with app control launch globally

Xiaomi already offers a range of smart air fryers and now has two more models on the horizon, having recently listed the new Xiaomi Smart Air Fryer 5.5L and Xiaomi Smart Air Fryer 4.5L on its global website. Specific information on availability and prices is still pending. 

The two new Xiaomi Smart Air Fryer 5.5L and Smart Air Fryer 4.5L are positioned in the upper mid-range in terms of size. They offer 5.5 and 4.5 liter cooking chambers in which food can be deep-fried with hot air. The temperature can be set from 40 °C to 220 °C on the larger model and up to 200 °C on the smaller one.

In addition to the low-fat preparation of food such as fries and the like, the two models can also defrost food, dry fruit and meat and prepare yogurt. The Xiaomi Smart Air Fryer 4.5L also lists baking and grilling among its possible applications. However, it does not have a viewing window.

Both smart air fryers from Xiaomi can be operated via the Mi Home/Xiaomi Home app. This allows access to even more recipes, voice control via Google Assistant and the programming of specific times so that cooked food is ready at the desired time. Alternatively, it can be controlled via the round control unit on both appliances.
