The POCO F6 Pro is set to be announced on the coming May 23. So far, the company has revealed the design and some core specs of the upcoming Android phone, which has hinted that it will be a rebranded Redmi K70, launched in November of last year. This just got further backed up by an early unboxing video.
As the unboxing video of the POCO F6 Pro shows, the upcoming smartphone has basically the same design as the Redmi K70. Of course, it does come with POCO branding instead of Redmi. But that's the only change that you can spot from the outside.
Speaking of outside, the video shows the phone in Black, which happens to come with the same marble-like streaks as the Redmi K70. That phone launched in China in three more colorways: Silver, Blue, and Purple. It's unclear whether the POCO F6 Pro will also be available in the other colorways.
As for the inside, the unboxing reaffirmed a couple of key specs. Again, they are the same as the Redmi K70. That includes the Snapdragon 8 Gen 2 SoC, 120W fast-charging support, 120 Hz AMOLED screen with WQHD+ resolution, and a 50 MP triple-camera setup. It is worth noting that POCO has also confirmed these specs through teasers.
A recent Amazon listing leak has also shed light on the probable price of the F6 Pro, which is EUR 619.9 (about $674) for the variant with 16 GB of RAM and 1 TB of storage. POCO will be unveiling the non-Pro F6 on May 23 too. It is confirmed to come with Snapdragon 8s Gen 3, and the teaser images suggest it will be a rebrand of Redmi Turbo 3.
