Xiaomi kicked off this week by detailing the launches of the POCO F6 and POCO F6 Pro. As always, the company revealed a few details about both devices, including remarking that the POCO F6 would be a 'performance flagship benchmark'. Subsequently, a retail listing for the POCO F6 Pro emerged online, confirming its existence as a POCO F5 Pro successor (curr. $498 on Amazon).
While the POCO F6 Pro is expected to arrive with the Snapdragon 8 Gen 2, Xiaomi has other plans for the POCO F6. As the images below show, the company has confirmed that the latter will feature the Snapdragon 8s Gen 3, a newer chipset that it claims achieves an AnTuTu v10 score of 1,530,662 inside POCO F6. Announced two months ago, the Snapdragon 8s Gen 3 inherits many elements from the Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 with a few cutbacks to target a lower price point.
Additionally, Xiaomi has offered looks at the POCO F6's display, which it markets as a 'POCO CrystalRes display'. For reference, the POCO F6 should have a 6.67-inch AMOLED panel that outputs at 1220p, 120 Hz with 2,400 nits peak brightness. Xiaomi will present the POCO F6 and POCO F6 Pro globally on May 23. Presumably, the company will reveal more details about both devices between now and then, though.
