Samsung Galaxy Tab S6 Lite 2024 released in Europe with Exynos 1280 chipset to huge launch discounts
Samsung has now begun selling the Galaxy Tab S6 Lite 2024 across Europe and the UK. To recap, the company introduced the tablet earlier this week, full details of which we have covered separately. While the company revealed most device specifications, it decided against confirming which SoC powers the tablet. Instead, Samsung provided the following specifications:
- 10.4-inch LCD, 2,000 x 1,200-pixel resolution
- 7,040 mAh battery, 15 W wired charging
- 5 MP front-facing & 8 MP rear-facing cameras
- 4 GB of RAM
- Quad core 2.4GHz + Quad core 2.0GHz SoC
According to Proshop, the Galaxy Tab S6 Lite 2024 relies upon the Exynos 1280 that we have already tested in the Galaxy A25 5G, Galaxy A33 5G, Galaxy A53 5G, Galaxy M33 5G and Galaxy M34 5G. Thus, the tablet has ARM Cortex-A55 and Cortex-A78 CPU cores at its disposal, as well as a Mali-G68 MP4 GPU. Additionally, the chipset utilises a 5 nm manufacturing process and offers Wi-Fi 5 connectivity. Moreover, the Exynos 1280 supports Sub-6GHz (2550/1280 Mbps), mmWave (1840/920 Mbps), and LTE Cat 18 (1200/200 Mbps) cellular connectivity.
Currently, Samsung is selling the Galaxy Tab S6 Lite 2024 in three configurations, starting with 64 GB of storage and Wi-Fi-only connectivity. Alternatively, the tablet can be configured with 128 GB of storage or LTE connectivity. However, the latter is only available with 64 GB of storage at the time of publication. Incidentally, Proshop has already discounted both 64 GB SKUs considerably in its Easter sales, which last until April 14. Pricing for the Galaxy Tab S6 Lite 2024 is as follows:
- 64 GB storage/Wi-Fi connectivity: £349/€429 MSRP - €269 on Proshop (37% discount)
- 128 GB storage/Wi-Fi connectivity: £379 MSRP
- 64 GB storage/LTE connectivity: €489 MSRP - €369 on Proshop (24.5% discount)
