Sony Xperia 1 VI name appears in new third-party case listings

A third-party phone case designer has posted a new listing for an upcoming device, using the name “Sony Xperia 1 VI”. Sony has not yet revealed any details about its 2024 Xperia 1 smartphone, although it does seem to have confirmed the presence of the 3.5 mm audio jack on future Xperia phones. The Sony Xperia 1 V, available on Amazon, also sports this beloved audio port.

The listing from the Chinese company Dux Ducis shows the Skin Pro series case for the Sony Xperia 1 VI. A phone is shown in most of the images; however, this is likely just an artistic rendition of a generic Sony Xperia 1 phone rather than an early leak of the actual Xperia 1 VI.

Unsurprisingly, the case is tall and slender, which would be typical for Sony’s flagship phone and what is expected for the Xperia 1 VI. However, as pointed out by another source, a render for the Sony Xperia 1 VI actually looks wider than a similar one of the Xperia 1 V (see image below), so it seems there could be some slight design refinements incoming for the Mark 6 variant of the device.
