Sharp launches new cheaper HT-SB700 2.0.2 Compact Dolby Atmos Soundbar
Sharp has launched its new HT-SB700 2.0.2 Compact Dolby Atmos Soundbar in Europe. The device has an up to 140W power output from two full-range speaker drivers and two up-firing full-range speaker drivers. Plus, support for Dolby Atmos helps to create a surround sound experience.
Using the equalizer, you can customize the sound produced by the HT-SB700 by adjusting the bass and treble or selecting one of five pre-set modes, such as Movie, Music, and Night. These adjustments to the soundbar can be made via built-in buttons or the accompanying remote. Bluetooth 5.3 lets you connect your phone or tablet to stream music wirelessly, and you can connect the soundbar to your TV via HDMI eARC/CEC. Other ports on the speaker include Digital Optical Audio Input and 3.5mm Aux-in.
The small soundbar measures 520 x 72 x 110mm (~20.5 x 2.8 x 4.3 inches) and has a metal grille and a matt black finish. The Sharp 2.0.2 Compact Dolby Atmos Soundbar HT-SB700 is relatively affordable, retailing in Germany at Amazon for €199.90. The product is also listed on Amazon in the Netherlands and Italy, though delivery is currently estimated between June and October. Product pages on the company’s sites in the UK and France suggest that a wider European rollout is on the way.
