MagyarSamsung 2024 QLED 4K Q80D TV pricing unveiled
The Samsung QLED 4K Q80D TV is launching in North America and Europe. The 2024 model is offered in five sizes: 50”, 55”, 65”, 75”, and 85”. The 4K TV has a direct full-array LED backlight, with the brightness intelligently adjusted based on the light in the room. Plus, Quantum HDR+ ensures a colorful picture with a high level of contrast, and the TV supports HDR10+ and HLG.
The Q80D has 100% Color Volume, or 100% coverage of the DCI-P3 color space, with Quantum Dot technology. All TV sizes have a 100Hz/120Hz refresh rate except for the 50” model, which has 50Hz/60Hz, with Motion Xcelerator 120Hz for smoother fast-moving images. The NQ4 AI Gen2 processor-powered model also has 4K AI upscaling and runs on Tizen OS. Gaming features include VRR, ALLM, Mini Map Zoom and FreeSync Premium Pro compatibility. The TV has a range of ports like four HDMI with a maximum input rate of 4K@120Hz (4K@60Hz for the 50” model), HDMI eARC, USB-A and Ethernet. For audio, the model has a built-in 2.2-channel speaker system, supporting Object Tracking Sound Lite and Dolby Atmos.
The slim TV has a thin bezel on three sides and a new hexagon plate stand. The entry-level 50” Samsung QLED 4K Q80D TV will be sold for $999.99/€1,199.00/£1,099.00. Meanwhile, the range-topping 85” version is priced at $3,299.99/€3,499.00/£3,299.00. All sizes are available at Amazon in the US, with some sold directly from Samsung. While the products are listed at Samsung NL, they are marked as out of stock. Third-party retailer Hughes provides pricing details in the UK, though the TVs are also out of stock here.
