Deal | Asus ROG Flow Z13 Windows gaming tablet with better specs than Minisforum V3 drops to all-time low

The recently launched Minisforum V3 is the world’s first AMD Hawk Point-powered Windows gaming tablet. While the Radeon 780M iGPU makes it capable of playing many modern games, the lack of a dedicated GPU will become noticeable when you bump graphics settings. The 2023 Asus ROG Flow Z13 is a better pick in this regard.

Of course, the V3 has the upper hand in price, as it starts at $1,199. On the other hand, the regular price of the ROG Flow Z13 with Intel Core i9-13900H CPU and a dedicated RTX 4060 GPU is $1,879.99. But things change with this limited-time deal. The Windows gaming tablet is now available for $1,549.99 on Best Buy.

This is an all-time low price for the gaming laptop/tablet with the above-mentioned configuration. That means the value doesn’t get better than what you’re getting right now. Also, given that it has a dedicated RTX 4060 GPU, the ROG Flow Z13 easily outperforms the Minsiforum V3.

The Windows gaming tablet did really well in our review too. It got an overall score of 89%, and we liked a good number of things about the Asus ROG Flow Z13. Besides the powerful specs that it brings in a small and easy-to-carry form factor, it has a docking port that the company calls ROG XG Mobile Interface.

That allows you to pair the Asus ROG Flow Z13 with an external Nvidia RTX 4090 (available on Amazon) for even better gaming performance. Of course, you can do the same with the Minisforum V3’s USB4 port, but you need to consider that an eGPU hub is an extra accessory you need to purchase to get high-end gaming performance out of it.

Getting back to the ROG Flow Z13, the Windows gaming tablet also has a reasonably good display. It’s a 13.4-inch IPS panel with QHD+ resolution and a 165 Hz refresh rate. We found it to offer good brightness at over 500 nits in the SDR mode.
