Xiaomi has launched the Mijia Mistless Humidifier in China. This smart home product is available in two sizes: the smaller tabletop 400 ml/h and the floor-standing 600 ml/h for larger rooms.
As the name suggests, the new Mijia humidifiers are mist-free, suiting those who are sensitive to airborne water. Each has an antibacterial humidification filter with a six to twelve month life span, which is washable to easily remove collected dust. Users can choose from four modes: Constant Humidity, Sleep, Power and Air Drying. Plus, the integrated sensor can be used to intelligently adjust the settings based on changes in the environment.
Users of the Mijia Mistless Humidifier can set up this smart feature in the brand’s app, selecting the target humidity and run time. Both models have an integrated dome display showing the humidity level, and are said to be able to run relatively quietly at around 30 dB(A). The 400 ml/h variant has a 4 L water tank for an 18-hour run time, while the 600 ml/h version has a 5 L tank and a 20-hour estimated run time. The former measures 215 x 370 mm (~8.5 x 14.6 inches), while the latter is larger at 230 x 432 mm (~9.1 x 17.0 inches).
The 400 ml/h and 600 ml/h versions of the Xiaomi Mijia Mistless Humidifier retail in China for CNY 399 (~$56) and CNY 499 (~$69), respectively. The company has not announced plans to bring these products to other markets like Europe, where it already sells the Xiaomi Smart Humidifier 2 (curr. €53.99 at Amazon Germany).
