The Xiaomi Mijia Wireless Floor Scrubber 4 has been released in China. This is the entry-level model in the 4 series, joining the existing 4 Max and 4 Pro devices.
The Mijia Wireless Floor Scrubber 4 has a roller brush, said to rotate 450 times per minute. Users can choose between three cleaning modes, and there is fast drying technology, allowing you to safely walk over your floors straight after cleaning. The mop is washed at the docking station with 70°C (~158°F) hot water and dried with 100°C (~212°F) hot air so it is ready for the next cleaning job. Plus, there is a new odor-suppressing stick to keep the mop smelling fresh.
The Xiaomi wet dry vacuum offers up to 18,000 Pa suction power, making it the least powerful model in the series; the 4 Max is said to deliver up to 23,000 Pa. It is also said to have a thorough anti-tangle system to prevent hair from getting trapped. Thanks to the built-in hinge, the Floor Scrubber 4 can be angled flat to the floor, allowing you to clean under lower items of furniture. Features which the base level model lacks compared to the 4 Pro and 4 Max include intelligent dirt detection (Pro and Max) and support for the Mijia App (Max). It is powered by a 4,000 mAh battery, which allows the vacuum to run for up to 40 minutes and recharges at the accompanying docking station.
In China, the Xiaomi Mijia Wireless Floor Scrubber 4 retails for CNY 1,699 (~$237). Whether or when this product could be released in Europe is unclear. In countries like Germany, the company already sells various wet dry vacuums, including the Xiaomi Truclean W20 (curr. €179.99 at Amazon).
