New Govee Star Light Projector Ocean Wave on the way
Govee has listed the new Star Light Projector (Ocean Wave) on its European website. This upcoming product appears to build on the original Star Light Projector, which was released in late 2024.
Recently, the Govee Star Light Projector (Ocean Wave) has been listed on the ‘Coming Soon’ page of the brand’s website. So far, Govee has revealed that its new smart lighting product will provide “Fantasy Water Ripple Effects”; presumably, users will be able to choose from a selection of dynamic lighting effects in the Govee Home app. Plus, you will be able to generate your own water ripple patterns.
Govee’s Star Light Projector will offer a Sleep Mode, said to help users create a ‘Natural Routine’. Plus, there will be “soothing” combinations of light and sound effects to aid in your relaxation. A listing in the database of the Connectivity Standards Alliance (CSA) also reveals that this device will support Matter 1.2, meaning it will work with many smart home ecosystems.
The Govee Star Light Projector (Ocean Wave) is expected to be released in Europe on September 26th. While its price remains a mystery, as a guide, the original Star Light Projector retails for €99.99 in this region (curr. $69.98 at Amazon US). Whether or when this smart lighting product could be released in other markets like the US is unclear.
