New Philips Hue outdoor string lights coming soon

A new Philips Hue product has leaked: the Festavia Globe String Lights. This is one of a range of smart home devices which were accidentally shown on the brand’s website for a brief time in August 2025. Other leaked products include the Hue Bridge Pro and the Festavia Permanent Outdoor String Lights.

According to Philips Hue, the Festavia Globe String Lights are designed for your backyard or patio. They are said to offer both warm white and colored lighting, with a range of lighting scenes and dynamic effects. There is also the option to create a custom gradient along the string of lights. Plus, the ‘distinctive inner tube’ ensures that the lights do not compromise on color or brightness.

A leaked image of the Festavia Globe String Lights shows rounded bulbs set in black elements, attached to a black wire. This is a different design to the finer Festavia String Lights (set of 250 curr. $214.99 at Amazon). Further details, including the length of the string, the number of bulbs and the peak brightness measurement, have yet to be disclosed. As is typical with Philips Hue products, they are expected to be remotely controlled via the Philips Hue app, with the ability to link them to other compatible smart home products.

The price of the Philips Hue Festavia Globe String Lights has yet to be announced. This smart lighting product is expected to be officially unveiled in September at IFA 2025, alongside a range of other devices.
