The Philips Hue Bridge Pro’s price and release date appear to have been leaked. Rumors about this upcoming smart home hub started earlier this year, and it was recently listed on the brand’s website for a short time.
Now, a report by Hueblog.com suggests that the Philips Hue Bridge Pro could be released on September 4th. This is in line with earlier theories that the product would be revealed near IFA 2025, an event which starts on September 5th. Plus, the dedicated Philips Hue blog suggests that the Hue Bridge Pro will retail for €89.99 in Europe. That would make it €30 more expensive than the original version, which is typically priced at €59.99 (curr. €43.97 at Amazon Germany). Hueblog.com does not cite the source of this information.
Philips Hue’s new Bridge Pro is expected to offer various upgrades compared to the previous model. It will support a greater number of connected devices, up to 150 smart lights, 50 accessories and 500 smart home scenes. Plus, it is expected to be faster and will connect to your router over Wi-Fi rather than Ethernet. On top of this, the new MotionAware feature could allow your smart lights to act as motion detectors.
The pricing of the Philips Hue Bridge Pro in other regions, like the US, has yet to be revealed.
