Philips’ Dynalite Matter Bridge is now an officially certified smart home solution. Revealed earlier this year, the system combines two of the brand’s products. This Matter certification confirms that users of the Dynalite smart home system can remotely control devices through a wide range of apps and voice assistants.

The Philips Dynalite Matter Bridge has been certified by the Connectivity Standards Alliance (CSA). The CSA is a body responsible for the development and rollout of the Matter smart home protocol.

Philips Dynalite is another Signify brand, like Philips Hue. However, Dynalite delivers products directly to businesses to create smart buildings, whether that is for retail, hospitality, offices or residential applications. Using Dynalite's products, you can control smart lighting, thermostats, fans and curtains.

The Dynalite Matter Bridge was announced in July 2025. The solution combines the Philips Dynalite Touch Screen (PDTS v2) and the Ethernet Gateway (PDDEGS v2 & v3). The Touch Screen is a wall-mounted accessory, through which users can control connected devices, set up schedules or trigger smart scenes. The Ethernet Gateway delivers a secure remote connection between Ethernet and DyNet devices, allowing users to access the Philips smart lighting controls.

Acting as a matter bridge, these two Dynalite devices allow users to control the smart appliances through the ecosystem of their choice; for example, the Matter standard would enable integration with Apple Home, Google Home or Amazon Alexa. For consumers, Philips already sells the Matter-compatible Hue Bridge (curr. $59.97 at Amazon).
