The Philips Hue Festavia Globe Outdoor String Lights are now available to pre-order in some European countries. This smart lighting product leaked earlier in August 2025 alongside the upcoming Hue Bridge Pro.
Now, at Amazon France, you can order three lengths of the Festavia Globe string lights. The 7 m (~23 ft) 10 bulb version costs €149.99, the 14 m (~46 ft) 20 bulb variant is priced at €199.99, and the 21 m (~69 ft) 30 bulb model retails for €299.99. However, the earliest possible delivery date is currently listed as late October 2025. Plus, it is unclear whether or not these listings are not supposed to be live, and whether they could disappear in the near future.
The Amazon product listing reveals more details about the Festavia Globe string lights. Each spherical LED bulb is said to produce up to 50 lumens of brightness, offering white and colored lighting effects. Philips Hue’s Lightguide technology is said to optimize for color, brightness and light direction, with a range of effects to suit your mood or occasion. The smart lights support Amazon Alexa, Apple Home and Google Home, with remote controls also available through the Hue app.
Like other products in the brand’s latest range, they are marketed as delivering “ultra-low dimming”. These outdoor string lights are also sun-resistant, IP65 dust and water-resistant, and will operate in temperatures from -20 to 45°C (~-4 to 113°F). Each set of bulbs comes with a 30W power supply and supports the Philips Hue Low-volt system. The Philips Hue Festavia Globe Outdoor String Lights are expected to officially launch in Europe in early September, though their global release date remains unknown.
