The Govee Star Light Projector has been launched in countries globally. The smart home product uses a light source and laser to create Aurora-inspired lighting effects. Plus, the device is Matter compatible, and built-in speakers can play accompanying white noise for an even more relaxing experience.

Govee has launched the Star Light Projector in countries worldwide. Similar to the Govee Galaxy Light Projector Pro, which launched last year, the latest device can project Aurora-inspired lighting onto a wall or ceiling to create a relaxing mood.

The Star Light Projector uses dual LED lamp beads to cover an area of up to 650 ft² (~60 m²). In the Govee app, you can choose from over 16 million colors, three Aurora flow effects, three laser movement styles and over 52 scene modes such as Quiet, Relax and Healing. Other features include a timed sleep mode and a built-in speaker to play 18 white noise sounds. Plus, the device is Matter compatible, allowing integration with many smart home ecosystems, including Google Home and Amazon Alexa.

However, it is worth noting that some early reviewers of the device said that the running noise generated is louder than expected. The Govee Star Light Projector is currently available at the discounted price of $69.99/£84.99/€84.99; for context, the product has an RRP of $79.99/£99.99/€99.99. It is unclear how long this introductory offer will last.
