Govee Smart Recessed Lights Pro with Night Light now available

The Govee Recessed Downlight 2 has been released in countries worldwide. Also known as the Govee Smart Recessed Lights Pro with Night Light, this product is available in two sizes: 4-inch/99 mm (model H601E) and 6-inch (model H601F).

These new Govee smart lights are designed for small to medium sized spaces. Each Recessed Downlight 2 has two independently controllable light sources: a RGBWW main lamp and RGBIC side lights. The latter provides an ambient glow which you could use as a night light. The 4-inch lights deliver up to 900 lumens brightness each, while the 6-inch variants provide up to 1,100 lumens brightness each.

Users can choose from a range of colors and white color temperatures between 2,700 and 6,500 K in the Govee app. Here, there are also 80 preset scenes on offer, and you can use DreamView to sync lighting throughout your home. Another remote control option is voice commands with Amazon Alexa or Google Assistant. Plus, the Smart Recessed Lights Pro are Matter compatible, allowing them to integrate with many smart home ecosystems. Each product includes four lights and accompanying accessories allowing them to be hardwired into the ceiling.

You can now buy the Govee 4/6 inch Smart Recessed Lights Pro with Night Light in the US for $149.99 and $169.99, respectively. In Europe, the smaller Govee 99 mm Smart Recessed Lights Pro with Night Light are available for €149.99. Whether or when the larger variant could launch in this country is unclear.
