The Xiaomi Smart Ceiling Light D20 is now available in various countries. This product was listed on the brand’s global website earlier this year and is now available in markets like Germany and Hong Kong.
Xiaomi’s new Smart Ceiling Light D20 has an integrated radar sensor, meaning it can be triggered by motion. It delivers up to 900 lumens brightness, and the color temperature can be adjusted between 2,700 and 5,700K. According to Xiaomi, it has a Ra90 color rendering index, and is visibly flicker-free. There is Wi-Fi connectivity and HyperOS Connect, allowing it to be remotely controlled via the Xiaomi Home app. Plus, it works with Amazon Alexa and Google Home.
Xiaomi describes the product as ultra-slim, measuring 60 mm (~2.4 inches) thick and 250 mm (~9.8 inches) across. The page also has a ‘notes for buyers’ section, which warns prospective customers that this light must be installed on a concrete ceiling and that the radar function can only be activated through the Xiaomi Home app.
You can now buy the Xiaomi Smart Ceiling Light D20 in Germany for €39.99 and in Hong Kong for HK$229. The smart light is listed at the Xiaomi store in Hungary, though it is not currently available here. Plus, a support page on the Xiaomi Spain website indicates that this product will launch here in the future.
