The SwitchBot RGBICWW ceiling light has been launched in the US. The Matter-enabled smart ceiling light is designed to combine everyday illumination, colorful ambient lighting, and smart home control in one fixture. Plus, it features RGBIC dynamic color effects, adjustable warm-to-cool white lighting, and two size options for different spaces.

SwitchBot has expanded its Matter-enabled lighting portfolio with the launch of the new RGBICWW ceiling light in the US. The company’s new smart ceiling light is said to be designed to combine everyday illumination, colorful ambient lighting, and seamless smart home control in one fixture. Unlike the Govee Smart Ceiling Light Pro with a single 15-inch (38 cm) size, SwitchBot offers two size options, 12-inch (30 cm) and 15-inch (38 cm) for different spaces.

The 15-inch model is designed for spaces measuring around 20 m² (215 ft²) and delivers up to 3,200 lumens of peak brightness. The 12-inch model offers up to 2,000 lumens of peak brightness and is capable of covering an area of up to 15 m² (161 ft²). The former is said to be suitable for bedrooms, kitchens, small living rooms, entertainment rooms, and home offices, while the latter is designed for bathrooms, hallways, storage rooms, and balconies.

The round ceiling light supports dimmable white and colored lighting effects, with a color temperature range of 2,700K to 6,500K. The company offers a total of 26 preset scenes and 8 lighting effects through the SwitchBot app. Users can also customize colors and brightness, set schedules, and create lighting routines for different times of day via the companion app.

Alternatively, you can control it via remote or voice control through Apple Home, Alexa, and Google Home. On top of these features, it also supports Matter over WiFi. This means users can connect the ceiling light to major smart home platforms without purchasing an additional SwitchBot hub. Furthermore, it features dynamic multicolor effects thanks to RGBIC technology. Plus, the ceiling light is also compatible with other SwitchBot devices.

The SwitchBot RGBICWW ceiling light 12-inch and 15-inch models are priced at $49.99 and $79.99, respectively. As a part of the launch offer, the company is offering a 26% discount on the 12-inch model and 30% on the 15-inch, which brings the price down to just $36.99 and $55.99, respectively. Interested buyers can purchase the ceiling light directly from SwitchBot’s official website and Amazon.
