Govee has announced the Ceiling Light Pro, a new smart lighting product. This upcoming device was recently on show at CES 2025 alongside other smart lights like the Uplighter Floor Lamp.
The Ceiling Light Pro follows the original Govee Ceiling Light, which was launched in 2024. The Pro model will offer RGBICWW white and colored lighting from two light sources, one projecting downwards into the room and a second throwing light onto the ceiling for a diffused effect. According to the company, it delivers up to 3,500 lumens of white light brightness, an upgrade on the 2,400 lumens peak brightness of its predecessor.
Through the Govee Home app, users will be able to select from over 70 preset scene modes or customize the lighting using the 121 DIY points. Other anticipated features include voice commands, music sync modes and a dimming ability. The size of Ceiling Light Pro is unclear; for reference, the original has a 12-inch (30 cm) diameter. It is unclear precisely when the Govee Ceiling Light Pro will launch, though the company says it is “coming soon”. The price also remains a mystery. As a guide, the original Govee Ceiling Light retails for $69.99 (curr. $49.99 at Amazon).
