The Govee Uplighter Floor Lamp has been certified by the Connectivity Standards Alliance (CSA). This means that the product meets the requirements set by the organisation, which maintains the Zigbee and Matter standards.
Govee recently showed the Uplighter Floor Lamp at CES 2025 alongside other new smart indoor lighting products like the Mini Panel Lights (curr. from $99.99 at Amazon). This product is designed to project white and colored lighting effects onto your wall or ceiling, as demonstrated at CES (see image below). The company indicates that, depending on the settings, the lighting could be used to enhance your productivity or relaxation, or to create a party atmosphere.
The Uplighter Floor Lamp is described as offering “tri-zone” illumination with upper and lower light sources. Govee has confirmed a lighting effect that mimics rippled water and states that the lamp will offer up to 1,000 lumens of white light brightness, which is suitable for reading. The Matter-compatible smart light supports Bluetooth and Wi-Fi and will be remotely controllable via the Govee Home app.
Further details, including the height of the lamp, the peak color brightness and the extent of its smart lighting effects, have yet to be confirmed. It also remains to be seen when the Govee Uplighter Floor Lamp will launch and how much it will cost.
