The Govee Gaming Light Bars Pro have been spotted. This unannounced smart lighting product has been listed twice on the Connectivity Standards Alliance (CSA) website. The CSA is a group of companies that create and maintain IoT standards, like Matter, and certify applicable products.
In the first listing in the CSA certification database, it is referred to as the Smart Gaming Light Bars Pro, but the second entry calls it the Gaming Light Bars Pro. Based on details from these CSA pages, we know that the Govee Gaming Light Bars Pro are designed for indoor use, and they are described as having a “cool gaming style appearance”. Users will be able to choose from a range of colored lighting effects, with controls offered in the Govee Home app. Plus, they will offer Wi-Fi and Bluetooth connectivity, with support for the Matter protocol. This means that they will integrate with a wide range of smart home ecosystems like Apple Home, Google Home and Samsung SmartThings.
Further details have yet to be revealed. Govee launched the original Gaming Light Bars in 2022, a set of two 16.7-inch (~42.4 cm) RGB light bars, each with 31 LED light beads. Features of this product include over 60 pre-set lighting scenes, music-syncing modes and support for Razer Synapse 3 for an immersive gaming experience. It is unclear when the Govee Smart Gaming Light Bars Pro will be released and how much they will cost. As an indication, the original Govee Gaming Light Bars retail for $89.99.
