Casio has launched three new watches in the US: the MWA300H-1AV, the MWA300H-2AV, and the MWA300H-3AV. These are multi-dial analog watches with a sporty design. They feature a stainless steel bezel with a combination of hairline and mirror finishes.
Each MWA300H, or MWA-300H, model offers a different colour way. The 1AV has a black watch face, the 2AV is blue, and the 3AV is green. The 1AV and 2AV have the same black resin band, while the 3AV has a green strap to match its face.
Features include a basic 1/10-second stopwatch with modes like elapsed time and split time, shown across the three smaller dials. There are three hands on the analog watch for hours, minutes and seconds, and the date (day of the month only) is also displayed. Plus, it is water resistant to 100 m (~330 ft) and is said to run for up to three years on its SR920SW battery. It is worth noting that the product listing does not mention a backlight, which is included on many Casio watches to help you see the watch face in low lighting.
You can now buy the Casio MWA300H-1AV, MWA300H-2AV, and MWA300H-3AV watches for $69.95. This makes it more expensive than the more basic MWA series watches, like the MWA100H; the MWA100H-7AV retails for $42.95, but it is currently available at Amazon for $33.50. It remains to be seen whether or when it will reach other markets like Europe.
