Leak reveals new Casio G-Shock GMA-S110BE-4A limited edition Barbie watch

Leaked images indicate that Casio will launch a new Barbie collaboration watch in February. The G-Shock GMA-S110BE, or GMA-S110BE-4A or GMA-S110BE-4AJR, is based on the popular GMA-S110 series and is expected to be a limited edition model.

As you might expect, the GMA-S110BE-4A is almost entirely pink, with various shades used across the face, casing and strap. The Barbie branding is featured throughout, and there is a heart-shaped motif on the speed indicator dial. 

The GMA-S110BE is a hybrid digital analog watch that offers 29 time zones and a fully automatic calendar for the year 2099. There are tools like a 1/1000-second stopwatch, a countdown timer and five alarms. Plus, the approximate battery life on a single CR1220 battery is two years.

Jebsen, an authorized Casio retailer in Hong Kong, has hinted at the release date. A marketing page advertising a draw for the G-Shock x Barbie watch indicates that users will be able to register from February 10th, with an estimated shipping date of February 24th. Here, the price is also revealed; in Hong Kong, this product will be priced at HK$1,580 (~$204). It remains to be seen in which countries the Casio G-Shock GMA-S110BE-4A watch will be and how much it will cost in each market.
