Casio WS-1400H-2AV watch with 10-year battery life coming soon to Europe

The Casio WS-1400H-2AV watch is on its way to Europe. This blue model launched in the US in December, where it is known as the WS1400H-2AV, alongside the cream WS1400H-8AV. A few weeks later, a third dark gray version with an inverse display, the WS1400H-8BV, was released.

Now, the Casio WS-1400H-2AV watch has been listed on Casio’s websites in countries like the Netherlands and France, where it will retail for €39.90. The product page indicates that it will launch in the near future, though no exact release date has been provided.

Casio bills this model as “ideal for runners”, with a 1/100th second stopwatch. You can easily control the stopwatch thanks to two dedicated central buttons, one for Start/Stop and another for Lap Reset. There is enough memory to record 60 lap times, and other tools include a countdown timer and three multifunctional alarms.

It also has a larger LCD screen surrounded by an octagonal bezel, with an orange LED backlight to help you read the screen in the dark. Casio also sells this as a watch with 10 bar water resistance and an estimated battery life of 10 years. It remains to be seen whether or when the WS1400H-8AV or the WS1400H-8BV could launch in Europe. It is also unclear when the WS-1400H-2AV will roll out to other countries like the UK.
