The Ecovacs Deebot X8 Pro Omni robot vacuum and mop is now available in North America and Europe. This model was on show at IFA 2024 and again at CES 2025, and it is the first from the brand to offer a rolling mop head.
The Deebot X8 Pro Omni’s Ozmo Roller Mop is said to deliver up to 4,000 Pa pressure and rotate 200 times per minute. It uses 16 nozzles to direct fresh water to the roller, ensuring that dirt is not spread around your floors while mopping. For vacuuming, there is up to 18,000 Pa suction power with the ZeroTangle 2.0 main roller brush. Both the extending roller mop and a side brush ensure that all corners of the room are cleaned.
The X8 Pro Omni uses LiDAR navigation with AIVI 3D 3.0 camera-based obstacle avoidance. You can remotely control the robot using the accompanying app, or you can communicate with it using the YIKO-GPT intelligent voice assistant. On top of this, it comes with a self-cleaning docking station, with features like 75°C hot water mop washing and 63°C hot air drying. Ecovacs indicates that the system allows for up to 150 days of hands-free cleaning.
You can now buy the Ecovacs Deebot X8 Pro Omni robot vacuum and mop via Amazon in the US for $1,299.99 or in EU countries like France and Germany for €1,299. It is unclear whether or when this model will launch in other countries like the UK, Canada and Australia.
