IFA 2024 | Ecovacs reveals new Deebot X8 Pro Omni robot vacuum with powerful mop
Ecovacs has revealed the Deebot X8 Pro Omni robot vacuum. This is one of several new products from the company which are on show at IFA 2024. It is the first model to feature the brand’s new mopping function.
The Deebot X8 Pro uses the Ozmo Roller, applying up to 4,000 Pa downward pressure and rotating 200 times per minute. 16 nozzles inside the robot spray fresh water onto the mop to keep it clean as it works, and AI helps it detect dirt and continue cleaning as necessary. The model has up to 12,900 Pa suction power for vacuuming, and the Zero Tangle 2.0 brush is designed to avoid knotting hair. Plus, a second edge brush can extend from one side to ensure every corner of your room is cleaned.
On top of this, the robot comes with a new, smaller Omni Station for charging and maintenance. Here, the onboard water tank and dustbins are emptied, and the mop is cleaned with hot water and dried with hot air. Rumors suggest the Ecovacs Deebot X8 Pro Omni robot vacuum and mop will launch in 2025. Precisely when the model will go on sale and at what price remains to be seen.
