The Philips Hue Datura Ceiling Lights are now available in the US. Signify announced that these products were on the way to North America earlier this year, following their European launch in 2024.
The Datura Ceiling Light range includes four models: the Round small, the Round, the Square and the Rectangle. Each model has a main light source at the front, with a second source at the rear for softer, diffused lighting across the ceiling; they both offer dimmable white or colored lighting and can be independently controlled. All versions have a frameless design with a white aluminum profile. Plus, Bluetooth connectivity and Hue Bridge compatibility allow them to be remotely controlled through the Philips Hue app,
The Datura Ceiling Light Round small is 15.12 inches (~38.40 cm) wide, producing 3,000 lumens brightness at 4,000K. The larger Round variant is wider at 22.60 inches (~57.40 cm) and is also brighter at 4,850 lumens. The Square and Rectangle measure 23.62 x 23.62 inches (~60.00 x 60.00 cm) and 47.24 x 11.81 inches (~200.00 x 30.00 cm), respectively, each delivering 4,250 lumens brightness at 4,000K.
