Shelly has launched the new Wall Display X2 in countries across Europe. The device combines a smart home hub and switch, acting as a control centre for various appliances. Other features include a touch display and built-in temperature, humidity and light sensors.

The Shelly Wall Display X2 has been launched in Europe. This display can be used to remotely control smart home devices like lights, dehumidifiers, and fans, and it can be used in your home or greenhouse.

The Wall Display X2 has a 6.95-inch color touchscreen, where you can view and control connected appliances. The home screen is customizable, with users offered a choice of panoramic and portrait views. Integrated temperature, humidity, and light sensors can be used to trigger connected smart home products like thermostats or light bulbs. Plus, you can choose to get alerts when your chosen humidity or temperature level is reached.

There is also a built-in proximity sensor, 8W speaker and microphone. Another function of the wall display is energy consumption tracking of compatible Shelly devices with the Shelly Smart Control App. On top of this, you can set up scenes containing multiple smart devices or schedules for further automation. Connectivity options include Wi-Fi and Bluetooth 5.0, and there is an integrated 5A relay for appliance control. It is also worth noting that the Wall Display X2 can integrate with Home Assistant

The device measures 87 x 178 x 33 mm (~3.4 x 7.0 x 1.3 inches) with a black or silver shell, operating in temperatures ranging from -20 to 40°C (~-5 to 105°F). You can now buy the Shelly Wall Display X2 in European countries like the UK, the Netherlands and France for €164.90 (excl. VAT).
