Huawei has unveiled the Smart Screen S6 Pro TV, which will launch in China shortly. The model is available in four sizes ranging from 65 to 98 inches and has an ultra-thin design. Features include a 288Hz frame rate, built-in 2.1 channel speakers and a remote control with integrated NFC.

The Huawei Smart Screen S6 Pro TV has been revealed in China. This ultra-thin Mini LED model is available in four sizes: 65-inch, 75-inch, 85-inch and 98-inch. It has a 4K (3,840 x 2,160 px) resolution, with a native 144Hz refresh rate and a 288Hz frame rate.

The Smart Screen S6 Pro TVs deliver 500 nits typical brightness, 1,000 nits peak brightness, 94% DCI-P3 color gamut coverage and a 5,000:1 contrast ratio. Huawei claims that the model can fit almost flush to the wall, with a 5 mm gap. This is thanks to an ultra-thin wall mount and hidden wiring design, and the bezel is also thin for a 99% screen-to-body ratio.

Huawei’s S6 Pro uses HarmonyOS 4.3, with AI image and sound-enhancing technology. There is a built-in 2.1 channel speaker, and you can pair the TV with external devices to boost this to a 5.1 channel sound system. The accompanying remote control has integrated NFC, allowing you to quickly start wirelessly casting from your smartphone. Other features include a built-in AI assistant, voice commands, and smart home connectivity with live video streamed from your doorbell or door lock.

The Huawei Smart Screen S6 Pro will be available in China from April 3rd with prices ranging from CNY 6,499 (~$899) and CNY 16,999 (~$2,351). The company has yet to announce plans to bring this model to other markets like Europe.
