TCL has launched the QM7K, a QD-Mini LED 4K TV, in the US. It arrives a couple of months after the QM6K, which was revealed and launched at CES 2025. It is a successor to the 2024 TCL QM715G.
The QM7K is available in six sizes: 55-inch, 65-inch, 75-inch, 85-inch, 98-inch and 115-inch. Like the QM6K, this model features TCL’s new Halo Control System to reduce blooming and enhance color and grayscale accuracy. Another new technology is the CrystGlow HVA panel, which provides a 7,000:1 native contrast ratio with an anti-reflective cover.
The TV is said to deliver HDR3000 brightness, an improvement on the QM751G. It also offers a 144Hz native refresh rate and support for Dolby Vision IQ, HDR10+ and HDR10. The QM7K uses Google TV for streaming apps, voice controls and integration with smart home ecosystems, including Amazon Alexa, Google Home and Apple HomeKit.
Other features include Filmmaker mode, Game Accelerator 288 (288 VRR), and the model is IMAX Enhanced and AMD FreeSync Premium Pro certified. Plus, there is a built-in 2.2 channel sound system from Bang and Olufsen and a range of ports including four HDMI.
