Hisense E8Q and E8Q Pro TVs announced with 4K Mini LED, 330Hz refresh rate, and AI image processing

Hisense TVs have been gaining popularity over the past few years. The company has now unveiled the E8Q and E8Q Pro series TVs in China with Mini LED backlighting, high refresh rates, and AI-powered upgrades. The lineup includes sizes from 65 to 100 inches, with pricing starting at 7,499 yuan (~$1,040 USD).

The E8Q series is powered by Hisense’s AI image processing chip H6, supports 330Hz system-level refresh rates, and integrates U+ Mini LED backlight control technology for improved brightness and contrast. These models cover 98% of the DCI-P3 color gamut, support HDR10+, and run Android 14 with 4GB RAM and 64GB storage. The TVs in this series can hit a peak brightness of 2,000 nits.

The E8Q Pro series builds upon the standard model with the AI-powered H7 chip for better motion processing and contrast handling. These models feature a 90% BT.2020 color gamut for a broader range of colors and deeper blacks. The E8Q Pro models also include higher peak brightness (up to 3,000 nits) and advanced dimming zones for improved HDR performance.

Both series feature 4K (3840x2160) resolution, high brightness, and first-level energy efficiency ratings. Connectivity includes multiple HDMI 2.1 ports for low-latency gaming support and smooth video playback.

Pricing for the E8Q series starts at:

• 85-inch: 12,999 yuan (~$1,800)
• 100-inch: 22,999 yuan (~$3,185)

The E8Q Pro series is priced at:

• 75-inch: 13,599 yuan (~$1,885)
• 85-inch: 17,999 yuan (~$2,495)
• 100-inch: 27,999 yuan (~$3,880)

Hisense has not yet announced global availability for the E8Q and E8Q Pro series.
