However, thanks to Amazon’s deep price cuts, the Hisense U6 Mini LED is now even more accessible. For instance, the 75-inch Hisense U6N price has dropped to just $598 (linked at the end). Per camelcamelcamel, this discounted price is $219.21 lower than the average price of the Hisense 75U6N, constituting a record-low price for the TV.
In addition to the 75-inch variant, the 55-inch, 65-inch, and 85-inch Hisense U6N versions are also on sale at appreciable discounts.
When it comes to the hardware, the Hisense U6 shows many strengths and a few weaknesses. For starters, the TV boasts an average brightness of 400 nits and a peak of 500 nits. Sadly, the Hisense U6 also has some glaring weaknesses since the TV is, after all, a budget-focused product. For gamers, the biggest omission is probably the lack of a 120 or 240 Hz refresh rate mode, as the display tops out at just 60 Hz. For the general audience who wants to use the TV for watching media, the Hisense 65-inch U6 has low HDR brightness as shown by RTINGS, which could also be true for the 75-inch version.
All in all, if you can live with the above-mentioned cons of the Hisense U6 Mini LED, the TV will make for a pretty solid purchase at the current going price.
