The TCL C7K Premium QD-Mini LED TV has started to roll out in Europe. This model shares many similarities with the QM7K TV, which recently launched in the US (curr. from $1,299.99 at Amazon). It is available in seven sizes, ranging from 50-inch to 115-inch, with various upgrades compared to the new C6K model.
The C7K TVs are 4K models with a native 144Hz refresh rate and 120Hz MEMC, matching the C6K. They offer a greater number of local dimming zones, between 2,048 and 2,880, depending on the size, for 2,000-3,000 nits peak brightness. Other features include 93% coverage of the DCI-P3 color space and support for Dolby Vision IQ, HDR10+ and HLG. Like the C6K, an HVA panel delivers up to a 7,000:1 contrast ratio, and TCL’s new Halo Control System reduces bloom.
As on the C6K, there is Google TV, which brings many streaming apps, voice controls, and Google Meet video calling. For gaming, this model offers Game Accelerator 288, as well as Game Master, Gamebar, and AMD FreeSync Premium Pro certification. Plus, the speakers are more impressive on the C7K, a 4.2.2 channel Onkyo sound system supporting DTS Virtual: X.
The TCL C7K TVs are already listed at MediaMarkt in Austria, where it starts from €899 for the 50-inch model. As a price comparison versus the C6K, the 55-inch C7K costs €1,049, while the same size C6K retails for €799, making it 31% more expensive. You can find a complete price list below.
