Govee has announced three new lighting accessories at CES, expanding its wide portfolio. While two are upgrades to already existing products, one of them a new device that is intended to mimic, as per the company, “daylight in a natural way.” The Floor Lamp 3 and the Ceiling Light Ultra come with some meaningful upgrades over their predecessors and all three have been launched in partnership with Samsung SmartThings.
Govee Floor Lamp 3 features and upgrades
As for the overall design, not much has changed between the Floor Lamp 2 and the new Floor Lamp 3. It is unclear if Govee will offer the new lamp in both black and silver colors as only the black variant seems to be listed for now. The Floor Lamp 3, thanks to Govee’s new LuminBlend+ tech, can show colors in a much wider temperature range of 1,000K to 10,000K. The Floor Lamp 2 was limited to 2,200K – 6,500K. The maximum brightness has also been increased from 1,725 lumens to 1,900 lumens.
Govee has also upgraded its AI Lighting Bot to version 2.0 and it allows the lights to “react to mood or context in real time and learn behaviours.” With DaySync, the lights can automatically adjust brightness, color, and color temperature based on the time of day. This particular feature will be available starting April 2026.
Govee Ceiling Light Ultra features and upgrades
The Ceiling Light Ultra is six inches larger than the Ceiling Light Pro (15-inch vs 21-inch) and boasts higher brightness at 6,500K of 5,000 lumens. The Light Pro goes up to 4,300 lumens but has the same color temperature range. This comes at a slightly higher power cap of 51W compared to 48.5W for the Pro model. The Ceiling Light Ultra does not support LuminBlend+ but it does support AI Lighting Bot 2.0 and DaySync.
Govee Sky Ceiling Light features
The Sky Ceiling Light is similar to the Ceiling Light Ultra but it has light beads on the sides as well. Featuring the same color temperature range, it is a bit brighter at 5,200 lumens. It can also draw more power up to 120W and is designed to “recreate clear-sky tones and soft skylight transitions.” The white light has been refined to give a more comfortable ambience, especially in rooms that do not have windows. Like the Ceiling Light Ultra, it misses out on LuminBlend+ but gets AI Lighting Bot 2.0 and DaySync support.
All three products support Samsung SmartThings, along with Alexa, Google Assistant, and Matter. Compatible devices will be able to sync with the SmartThings ecosystem and work alongside other compatible devices.
Govee has not shared availability for the three devices yet, but more information can be expected in the coming weeks.
