The Govee Floor Lamp 3 has been named as an upcoming smart light from the brand. Yet to be officially announced, this new model was recently listed as a Matter-certified device in the Connectivity Standards Alliance’s (CSA) database.
Only a few details have been confirmed about the Govee Floor Lamp 3 so far. According to the product description in the brand’s database, this smart light can “create ambient lighting effects”. While it is not stated, based on the specification of the Floor Lamp 2, the new model is expected to offer a wide range of dynamic colored lighting effects.
Confusingly, the page also states that the Floor Lamp 3 is “designed to be installed on indoor walls”, though this seems unlikely given that it is a floor lamp. We also know that the new Govee smart light will support Bluetooth and Wi-Fi, with support for Matter allowing it to be integrated with many smart home ecosystems, for remote controls through various apps and voice assistants.
Govee has yet to announce the release date and pricing of the new Floor Lamp 3. It is expected to be an upgraded version of the Floor Lamp 2, which has a 60-inch lamp body, offering up to 1,725 lumens brightness, with a music syncing mode. As such, it is likely to have a higher retail price; the Govee Floor Lamp 2 typically costs $159.99 (curr. $99.99 at Amazon).
