A new Govee smart light, the Lantern Floor Lamp, appears to be on the way. Recently spotted in the database of the Connectivity Standards Alliance, this model is certified for Matter 1.3. According to the company, it will throw colorful lighting effects onto the walls of the room.

The Govee Lantern Floor Lamp has been unofficially announced. This upcoming smart light is one of several products which were recently confirmed as Matter 1.3 certified devices in the database of the Connectivity Standards Alliance (CSA), the organisation responsible for managing this protocol.

The CSA filing for the Govee Lantern Floor Lamp indicates that this light will projector colored lighting effects onto the walls of a room. Designed for indoor use, it supports Bluetooth and Wi-Fi, with remote controls expected to be available via the Govee Home app. Plus, support for Matter will allow the product to integrate with third-party smart home ecosystems, like Apple Home and Home Assistant.

No other details about the Govee Lantern Floor Lamp, also referred to as model H1630, have been confirmed at the time of writing. For example, the design of this product, as well as its maximum brightness level, has yet to be confirmed by the brand.

It could be that the Govee Lantern Floor Lamp is unveiled at CES 2026 in January, alongside other leaked devices like the Ceiling Light Ultra and the Floor Lamp 2 Pro. As for its price, Govee’s existing floor lamps retail for between $99.99 and $199.99 (Floor Lamp Basic curr. $59.99 at Amazon).
