The IKEA Bilresa Remote control, white smart/dual button is now available in the US. This smart home device was leaked earlier in 2025 and is already available in some European countries.
IKEA’s Bilresa Remote control is designed to move around your home with you, allowing you to control linked smart devices from a distance. For example, it could be used to remotely control a smart light, switching it on or off, adjusting the color or brightness settings. Plus, you could use the gadget to trigger a preset scene or group of smart home devices.
The Bilresa Remote control is designed to be connected to the brand’s Dirigera hub, through which it can be connected to other products. IKEA notes that its various generations of smart bulbs, sensors and remote controls can be used together. Plus, like many of IKEA’s new smart home products, the Bilresa supports the Matter protocol. This means that it will work with other smart home ecosystems, like Home Assistant, Apple Home and Samsung SmartThings. It is powered by two AAA batteries, which are not supplied with the product, measures 1 x 3 x 1 inches (2.5 x 7.6 x 2.5 cm)and is made from ABS plastic.
You can now buy the IKEA Bilresa Remote control, white, smart/dual button at the brand’s online store in the US for $7.99. According to the site’s in-store stock checking tool, this product is also available at some physical IKEA stores. A kit called the IKEA Bilresa Remote control kit, dual button/multicolor, will retail for $19.99, meaning customers save around $4 by purchasing the multipack. However, it is currently out of stock online.
