IKEA has released some of its new smart home sensors at its online store in the US. These products are already available online and in physical stores in several European countries, following their announcement in November 2025.
Now, customers in the US can purchase the Alpstuga Air quality sensor for $29.99 at ikea.com. This smart home device features an oblong display, which can show the levels of carbon dioxide (CO₂) and particles (PM2.5), as well as the temperature and humidity, in the room. It could be linked to a smart air purifier, intelligently triggering it when poor air quality is detected.
The Myggspray Wireless motion sensor and the Klippbok water leak sensor are each priced at $9.99. IKEA’s Myggspray is designed to trigger smart indoor or outdoor lights. The Klippbok could be used near an appliance like a washing machine or dishwasher, notifying you of any leaks.
The Myggbett Door/window sensor is slightly cheaper at $7.99. This product can detect if a window or door is left open or closed, helping you to secure your home. It is unclear when the final new smart product in this range, the Timmerflotte Temperature/humidity sensor, will be released in this market. It is expected to retail for $9.99.
All of these new IKEA smart home sensors can be connected to the brand’s Dirigera hub for remote controls and notifications via the IKEA Home smart app. Plus, they support Matter, meaning they can be added to many other smart home ecosystems, like Apple Home or Home Assistant.
