New Xiaomi smart Washer Dryer Set Pro launches

The Xiaomi Mijia Washer Dryer Set Pro has been released in China. This set includes the Pro Super Electrolytic Smart Drum Dryer 12kg and Heat Pump Dryer Pro 12kg, which are designed to be stacked one atop the other, or placed side by side.

Xiaomi's Mijia washing machine offers a wide range of washing cycles, including a 36-minute quick wash. Plus, Xiaomi suggests that its super electrolysis technology can remove various stains, including blood and soy sauce, as well as prevent color bleed. Another listed feature is whitening, with the company claiming the technology is equivalent to 50g of color safe bleach. Detergent can be intelligently dispensed from two compartments, with each drawer holding around a month's worth of the solution. 

The 12kg capacity of the Xiaomi Washer Dryer set is said to be approximately four sets of bedding or five sets of clothes for the whole family. Xiaomi's dryer has a 650W heat pump, drying clothes in as little as 35 minutes. On the front of each machine is a touch control panel, which can be used to adjust its settings. Thanks to HyperConnect, users can also remotely control these products through Xiaomi's app, with voice commands, or from another connected smart home device.

In China, the Xiaomi Mijia Washer Dryer Set Pro retails for CNY 8,749 (~$1,238). It is currently unclear if either of these products, or the complete set, will be released in Europe, where Xiaomi already sells models like the Mijia Front Load Washer Dryer Pro 9kg (curr. €499 at Xiaomi Store Spain).
