Xiaomi launches new triple drum washer dryer with HyperOS

Xiaomi has launched a new smart washer dryer in China. The Mijia Three-Zone Washing Machine Pro (14 kg) follows a smaller 10 kg version, which was released in this market a few months ago.

Like its predecessor, Xiaomi’s new Mijia Three-Zone Washing Machine Pro features one large drum, with two smaller drums above it. The washing capacity of all three has increased; the main drum can wash loads up to 12 kg, rather than 10 kg, with each smaller drum suited to 1 kg rather than 0.4 kg loads. Each has a separate water supply, to avoid cross-contamination, and there is a range of washing cycles, including a 12 minute quick wash.

The Xiaomi Mijia Three-Zone Washing Machine Pro also offers drying functionality, supporting up to 9 kg in the main drum and 0.5 kg in each smaller drum. It features a direct drive inverter motor, with a 10-year warranty, and is rated as a Level 1 energy-efficient device in China. Smart features include intelligent detergent dispensing from four drawers, and it can be remotely controlled via the Xiaomi app. From here, you will also be able to trigger over-the-air (OTA) updates. Plus, it supports HyperOS Connect and can be controlled with voice commands.

In China, the Xiaomi Mijia Three-Zone Washing Machine Pro (14kg) is available for CNY 6,499 (~$920 ) at Xiaomi’s online stores like Youpin. The company has not announced plans to bring this model to Europe, where it launched the Mijia Front Load Washer Dryer Pro 9kg (curr. €499 at Mi Store) earlier in 2025.
