The Philips Hue Festavia Permanent String Lights are now available in Europe. This product leaked earlier this year and officially launched in North America several weeks ago.
Philips Hue’s Festavia Permanent String lights are designed to work outdoors, with the company suggesting they could be used all year round. They produce white and colored lighting effects, with color temperature ranging from 1,000 to 20,000 K. At 4,000 K, these lights produce up to 1,600 lumens, and at 2,700 K, they deliver up to 1,350 lumens. According to the product listing, they should run for around 50,000 hours.
In Europe, Festavia Permanent String lights are available in an 18 m (60 ft) length featuring 32 bulbs spaced around 57 cm (~22.4 inches) apart. This string light is cuttable and extendable, so it can perfectly fit in your chosen space. With support for Bluetooth and Zigbee, it can be linked to Philips Hue Secure devices to trigger flashing red lights to deter intruders. Plus, these outdoor smart lights are rated as IP65 weatherproof, and should operate in temperatures between -20 and 45°C (-4 and 113°F).
