The Xeneon Edge took an awful long time to receive shelves. Announced in January shortly after Corsair's EX400U SSDs that went on sale immediately (curr. $128 on Amazon). By contrast, the company waited until the end of August before it started selling the Xeneon Edge on its website.
Incidentally, the original Xeneon Edge is still listed as 'coming soon' on B&H Photo Video. Nonetheless, Corsair has now decided to refresh its ultrawide secondary display with White and Atomic Purple variants. Fundamentally, the new releases contain the same hardware as their original counterpart and can be used on a desk or inside a PC instead of a 360 mm radiator.
Thus, the White and Atomic Purple variants feature AHVA panels that output at 2,560 x 720 pixels with 32:9 aspect ratios while measuring 14.5-inches diagonally. Also, the panels deliver up to 350 nits peak brightness but only a 60 Hz refresh rate and 5-point touchscreen support. Currently, the new Xeneon Edge variants retail for $249.99, price matching the original model. According to Corsair's website, both the White and Atomic Purple variants should begin shipping between December 20 and December 23. Please see the company's website for more details.
