It may have arrived later than planned, but the Corsair Xeneon Edge is finally available. Unveiled in January, the Xeneon Edge debuted only a few days before the EX400U external SSD that Corsair quickly released globally (curr. $109.99 on Amazon). By contrast, Corsair had initially hoped to have launched the Xeneon Edge by the end of June.
While the Xeneon Edge missed its original launch window, its specifications remain unchanged from its initial showcase. Thus, the device has a 14.5-inch VA panel with a 32:9 aspect ratio and a 2,560 x 720 resolution within a housing that measures roughly 372 x 120 x 20 mm. Moreover, the panel supports 5-point capacitive touch inputs, a 60 Hz refresh rate and 350 nits peak brightness.
Also, although Corsair primarily shows the Xeneon Edge being used on a desk, it can be mounted inside a PC case in lieu of a 360 mm radiator. As an early B&H Photo Video listing suggested, Corsair has priced the Xeneon Edge at $249.99 in the US. For the time being, the touchscreen display is only available from Corsair directly. However, the Xeneon Edge should reach third-party retailers like B&H Photo Video later this year. Please see Corsair's website for more details.
