The Govee Outdoor Solar String Lights, a first for the brand, have appeared on its official website. Listed as coming soon, these new smart lights will deliver white and colored lighting effects. They are powered by a solar panel accessory, and an integrated battery can extend their runtime.

Govee has announced its first solar-powered outdoor string lights. The Outdoor Solar String Lights were recently listed on the Coming Soon page on the brand’s US and EU websites.

So far, Govee has revealed that its Outdoor Solar String Lights will offer users a choice of 16 million colors. There is expected to be a range of preset dynamic lighting effects on offer, as well as the option to create your own. It also appears that each bulb will offer up to 50 lumens brightness.

An image of the Govee Outdoor Solar String Lights shows an accompanying solar panel, which can be fixed into the ground with a stake accessory. We also know that the model has a 4,800 mAh battery to prolong its runtime when there is insufficient sunlight. These smart lights and solar panels are IP67-rated weatherproof and should be suitable for use all year round.

Typically, Govee’s smart lights can be remotely controlled via its smartphone app, though this has yet to be officially confirmed. Further specifications, such as the string length, number of bulbs and possible Matter compatibility, have yet to be revealed. It remains to be seen when the new Govee Outdoor Solar String Lights will be released, and at what price. As an indication, the older Outdoor String Lights 2 in a 144ft length are currently availabe for $189.99 at Amazon.
