The TP-Link Tapo H110 Smart IR & IoT Hub has been released in the US. This smart home product launched in Japan in 2024 and has since become available in several European countries.
The Tapo H110 is marketed as an all-in-one infrared remote control, which can be used to control various household appliances. According to TP-Link, it is compatible with 18 types of devices, like air conditioners, TVs and lights, from over 8,000 brands. The hub allows you to remotely control these devices through the Tapo app, or using voice assistants like Alexa, Google Assistant or Siri. Through the app, you can also set up schedules for these devices or GPS-based triggers to switch appliances on or off when you near or leave your home.
TP-Link’s Tapo H110 is also a smart home hub, working with many of the brand’s smart sensors and cameras. On top of this, it is a Matter certified device, meaning it can integrate with many smart home ecosystems. Another feature is the integrated 93 dB siren, which can be used to deter intruders. It is also worth noting that, when the external network is disconnected, you can still use the hub to control devices on the same local area network (LAN).
You can now buy the TP-Link Tapo H110 Smart IR & IoT Hub at the brand’s online store or through its Amazon storefront for $29.99. At the time of writing, this product remains unavailable at the brand’s Amazon store in the UK.
