IKEA is now selling its Kajplats smart bulbs in the UK. These products are already available in other European countries like Germany and France, having launched in this region in December 2025.
The IKEA Kajplats smart bulb range includes three E14 LED bulbs. One has a candle shape with clear glass, offering white lighting effects through clear glass. This product offers up to 470 lumens brightness and retails for £5. The other two are opal white globe bulbs, offering up to 806 lumens brightness, one for white lighting effects and the other for white and colored lighting, priced at £5 and £7, respectively.
There are two IKEA Kajplats globe-shaped E27 LED bulbs, each delivering white lighting with up to 470 lumens brightness. The white version costs £4, while the clear model is priced at £5. A similar clear globe E27 LED bulb, offering white lighting effects at a higher brightness level of 806 lumens, costs £7. Customers are also offered three brighter E27 globe-shaped bulbs with an opal white finish. Two models offer up to 1,055 lumens brightness; the white light only option retails for £6, while the white and colored lighting variant costs £9. An even brighter 1,521 lumens bulb, limited to white lighting effects, is also priced at £9.
Finally, there are two smart GU10 LED bulbs. A white spectrum model with up to 575 lumens brightness is available for £5, while the white and colored lighting version with a lower maximum brightness of 470 lumens costs £7. There is also a range of starter kits, including various bulbs and a smart remote, starting from £9. All of the IKEA Kajplats smart bulbs can be paired to the brand's Dirigera hub for wireless dimming and color adjustments. Plus, they support Matter, making them compatible with various third-party smart home products.
It remains to be seen when these new IKEA smart lighting products will be released in the US.
