The Turbo 6V represents OnePlus' cheaper option in the company's nascent Turbo series. To that end, the Turbo 6V can be picked up in China for around 20% less than its Turbo 6 counterpart. Accordingly, the Turbo 6V drops behind its stablemate in a few areas to hit a lower price point.
For example, OnePlus has swapped the Snapdragon 8s Gen 4 for the lesser Snapdragon 7s Gen 4 that was previously exclusive to the Redmi Note 15 Pro Plus. With that being said, this chipset is only about as powerful as the Snapdragon 7s Gen 3 that preceded it in smartphones like the Nothing Phone (3a) and the Redmi Note 14 Pro Plus (curr. $349.50 on Amazon). Setting that aside, the Turbo 6V also finds itself with LPDDR4X RAM and UFS 3.1 flash storage, both downgrades on the hardware found in the Turbo 6.
However, the Turbo 6V features the same 50 MP primary camera, 2 MP monochrome lens and 16 MP front-facing camera as its more expensive sibling. Likewise, OnePlus equips both devices with a 9,000 mAh battery that supports 80 W wired charging and a 6.78-inch AMOLED display that outputs at 2,772 x 1,272 pixels and 1,800 nits. For some reason, OnePlus caps the Turbo 6V's display at 144 Hz, rather than the 165 Hz afforded to the Turbo 6.
The Turbo 6V starts at CNY 1,899 (~$270) with 8 GB of RAM and 256 GB of storage, or CNY 1,699 (~$243) during its pre-sale period. Alternatively, OnePlus also offers the Turbo 6V with 12 GB of RAM and 256 GB or 512 GB of storage for CNY 2,099 (~$300) and CNY 2,399 (~$345), respectively, with CNY 200 (~$29) taken off as a pre-sale deal. International availability remains unknown for now, though.
