The Redmi Note 15 Pro+ is now official in the international market. While Xiaomi tweaked the specs of the global variant, the SoC remains the same. This affordable mid-range phone starts at €499 in the EU.

Xiaomi has formally introduced the Redmi Note 15 series in the global market, and among the new phones, the Note 15 Pro Plus is the top-end offering in the lineup. It retains the same look as its Chinese counterpart, but the spec sheet has seen several changes.

Among the changes, the most notable one is the camera setup. To look back, the Chinese Redmi Note 15 Pro+ comes with a 50 MP primary, which is paired with a 50 MP telephoto, and an 8 MP ultrawide. The inclusion of the telephoto sensor made this mid-range phone stand out from its predecessor, but the same isn't true for the global variant.

It trades the triple-camera setup for a dual-camera setup, dropping the telephoto sensor. The primary camera is also different, with the global variant coming with the 200 MP HPE sensor. However, the ultrawide remains the same.

The battery department sees a change as well. While the Chinese variant comes with a large 7,000 mAh battery, the global Note 15 Pro Plus packs a 6,500 mAh battery. That's still a relatively large capacity, and the good part is that the international variant sees a slight charging update, coming with a 100 W fast charging support over the 90 W support found in the Chinese phone (160 W Anker Prime charger curr. $107.49  on Amazon).

As for the other specs of the global Redmi Note 15 Pro Plus, they are more or less the same as the Chinese counterpart. That includes a 6.83-inch AMOLED panel with a 120 Hz refresh rate and a peak brightness rating of 3,200 nits. Of course, Xiaomi has decided to protect the display with Gorilla Glass Victus 2 instead of Dragon Crystal Glass.

Other notable aspects include a 32 MP selfie camera, Snapdragon 7s Gen 4, multiple IP ratings, and a dual-speaker setup with support for Dolby Atmos. The global Redmi Note 15 Pro+ is available in three colorways, and the base configuration comes with 8 GB of RAM and 128 GB of storage. This starting trim costs €499, while the top-end config with 12 GB of RAM and 512 GB of storage costs €549. Pre-orders are set to go live on January 5, 2026.
