Xiaomi is set to launch its top-end camera flagship phone soon, the Xiaomi 17 Ultra. It has already been showcased in official renders, and while they offered a closer look at the three colorways, the front view wasn't showcased. Now, through an official hands-on video, Lu Weibing, the company's president, has offered a short glimpse of what the phone looks like from the front.
As shown in the video, the rounder overall design of the Xiaomi 17 Ultra is more noticeable from the front. Like the other phones within the lineup, the bezels are very slim and are uniform on all sides. However, it's not clear whether the bezels are thinner than those of the predecessor (available on TradingShenzhen).
Other than showcasing the front of the phone, this hands-on video gives another look at the different colorways that will be available. While Xiaomi previously showcased three, it seems that there will be one more addition, and it has also made a first-time appearance in the video.
This surprise colorway features a violet tone, and with this, the total number of color options available for the Xiaomi 17 Ultra stands at four. Of course, the Starry Green will be the main highlight at launch, and as shown in the video, the sparkling elements do make it stand out from the rest.
Of course, from the real-world shots in the video, the other three colorways are also quite sleek. More official information about the camera flagship is expected to emerge ahead of the Chinese December 25, 2025, launch event.
